Join us for a weekend of musical exploration with Carlie Howell

As a PERFORMER, Carlie weaves together their experience with jazz, blues, classical, folk, pop, rock, reggae, klezmer, free-improv, and world music traditions to create an eclectic and unique musical voice all their own. Carlie’s passion lies in creation and collaboration, working and performing with composer-collectives, accompanying original singer songwriters, and fusing traditional styles with contemporary contexts.

Saturday - BRAZILIAN KITCHEN PARTY

Get ready to dance at this musical mash-up of the folk fiddle traditions of Canada’s East Coast and the Northeast of Brazil. From reels to rabeca, fiddle tunes to forró, this show will feature Brazilian Canadian percussionist Aline Morales and an eclectic lineup of island musicians reinterpreting standards from north and south of the equator.
