Welcome to Chepstow Coffee Concerts, a monthly series of professional standard recitals performed by superb musicians. The concerts are held on the third Friday of the month at St Mary’s Priory, Chepstow. They are an hour long with different performers every month.

We apply a ‘donations, please pay what you can’ policy.
Our concerts are raising money for the Karl Daymond Bursary which helps the future generation of musicians. We also support Chepstow Priory Friends, their work helps maintain the magnificent Chepstow Priory.
RAYMOND BURLEY
Raymond Burley is one of the UKs most experienced guitarists. As a soloist he has performed throughout Europe, North and South America, Canada and the Far East. He has appeared many times at London’s Wigmore Hall, South Bank Centre, and Symphony Hall in Birmingham. He has performed and recorded with several of the country’s finest orchestras including the Philharmonia, English Chamber Orchestra, Hallé and the BBC Symphony.
He has worked in duos with guitarists such as Alice Artzt, John Mills, Gordon Giltrap, Clive Carroll and John Etheridge. Other partners have included actress Dame Peggy Ashcroft, mezzo soprano Jacqueline Fox and keyboard player Rick Wakeman.
He has 25 CDs and more than 80 publications to his credit.
