The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust (MMLT) is bringing together music, community, and conservation under one roof for their third Notes for Nature benefit concert — an evening of exceptional live music in support of protecting local nature. Notes for Nature III will take place in the hamlet of Plevna, North Frontenac, this October.

Cover Charge: $25. Proceeds will support MMLT’s ongoing efforts to acquire and manage ecologically valuable lands for long-term conservation. If you’re able, please consider making an additional charitable donation on top of your cover charge to increase your impact!

Opener: Six Pack
Six Pack is a talented ensemble featuring Rob Rainer (MMLT Director), David Ramsden, Doug Barr, Mary Lou Carroll, Steve Kotze (MMLT President), and Rebecca Worden. Their performances flow seamlessly from timeless melodies to modern classics.
Headliner: TRiPOD
A wildly eclectic family trio made up of Elle Tufts, Kathryn Briggs, and Terry Tufts. With rich harmonies, superb musicianship, and a joyful stage presence, TRiPOD blends original songs and carefully chosen covers into performances brimming with passion, humour, and heart.
The event will also feature, for viewing and sale, landscape, wildlife, and other works by accomplished local painters Brian Bailey, Leane Bailey, Liz Jackson, and Linda Rush.
