The "Fashion Layers: Crafting Patterns" workshop is structured as a single-level program that
introduces participants to the fundamentals of fashion design with a focus on patternmaking.
The content includes:
โข Introduction to Patterns: Understanding different types of patterns and their
significance in fashion.
โข Sketching Techniques: Learning to draw and visualize design ideas.
โข Fabric Exploration: Experimenting with various materials to see how they interact
with patterns.
โข Hands-On Pattern-Making: Creating original patterns using both traditional and digital
methods.
โข Collaboration Projects: Working in teams to design cohesive collections, promoting
teamwork and creativity.
โข Showcase Presentation: Participants will present their final designs, enhancing their
presentation skills and confidence.
