The School of Counting Education at The British University in Egypt in collaboration with Faculty of Art and design are glad to announce their collaborated workshop titled "𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬."
𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭:
The "Fashion Layers: Crafting Patterns" workshop is structured as a single-level program that
introduces participants to the fundamentals of fashion design with a focus on patternmaking.
The content includes:
• Introduction to Patterns: Understanding different types of patterns and their
significance in fashion.
• Sketching Techniques: Learning to draw and visualize design ideas.
• Fabric Exploration: Experimenting with various materials to see how they interact
with patterns.
• Hands-On Pattern-Making: Creating original patterns using both traditional and digital
methods.
• Collaboration Projects: Working in teams to design cohesive collections, promoting
teamwork and creativity.
• Showcase Presentation: Participants will present their final designs, enhancing their
presentation skills and confidence.
