Sub-Merge returns to crate59 with an sublime program that combines new experimental and improvised music, contemporary performance and new media, in an immersive and dynamic program.
Tegan Koster will present her new experimental synth/object project “LabRat”, exploring a range of 80’s and 90’s synthesisers and curious objects.
Whilst sound artist File_Error and performance practitioner Rebecca Yodel will present a new improvised work, building on their ongoing sound/object/performance partnership.
Visual artist Doula, and performance artist Gumlu, will both present new installation and performance based works, and DJ Mr Tarago will close the night’s action with some smooth and obscure funk.
Produced by The 5Five Presents, Sub-Merge first emerged as an experimental program some 15+ years ago at crate59, and has been presented at various venues since.
It's a long circle-arc to bring this program back to this vital community arts space.
