MOSES WARUSAM
Moses Warusam’s music is deeply rooted in reggae, yet expands far beyond the genre with layers of acoustic, soul, and world influences that reflect both his Torres Strait Islander heritage and his broad musical sensibility. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, he brings a hands-on approach to his work, often playing guitar, bass, keyboards, synth, drums, percussion, and traditional island drums to craft rich, textured arrangements. His songwriting is heartfelt and emotive, weaving themes of love, resilience, and cultural pride into melodies that balance depth with accessibility. This blend of reggae rhythms, soulful vocals, and indigenous soundscapes gives his music a distinctive identity — both grounded in tradition and forward-looking in its artistry.
