Attention: Americans abroad, expatriates, tourists, and allies in Cairns, Australia!
NO DICTATORS DAY - SAT JUNE 14
📣 Join us at the Cairns Esplanade Lagoon (CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA)
On June 14, while Trump throws himself a military parade in DC for his birthday, people across the U.S., here in CAIRNS, and around the world will rise up in solidarity to reject his authoritarian agenda and defend democratic values. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts.
This coordinated day of action is a global response to authoritarianism, organized to coincide with protests across the U.S. and beyond. From city squares to parks and plazas, Americans and allies will be sending one clear message: 🛑 No dictators. No power grabs. No erosion of rights.
⏰ 2-4pm local time for a peaceful, powerful protest featuring:
- Like-minded people and bold messages
- Information on how to take action from abroad
All nationalities are welcome! You're encouraged to bring a sign that expresses your voice.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE
As Australia is a part of the Commonwealth, we will NOT be using the "No Kings" language, and we ask that you please NOT bring signs with that phrase.
We acknowledge and honor the traditional owners of this land past, present and future, the Gimuy-Walubarra Yidi.
The flag doesn’t belong to the Trump administration. It belongs to us. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
