Frog monitoring is back! 🐸 Saturday, 26th July.
Come and get involved with our community of volunteers, monitoring critically endangered frog populations in the wet tropics!
Meet at 6pm, at the Kuranda Tourist Information Centre on Therwine St then convoy to X4 monitoring sites.
Feel free to come to just one or all sites.
Finish time is roughly 9.30pm
Some of the sites are steep and slippery when wet so an average level of fitness is required. Others are easy to access, if you have any concerns please talk to me.
Bring a fully charged head torch, covered sleeves and pants for insect protection, insect repellent, sturdy foot wear, a rain coat or umbrella and a water bottle and snacks if you like.
(We have spare torches if that's the only thing stopping you!)
No experience required.
