Something strange is happening at the Cairns Botanic Gardens… We have blue sheep, red sheep, bath sheep, and bed sheep – but where is the Green Sheep?

Join us on an exciting, interactive adventure inspired by Mem Fox’s beloved book, Where is the Green Sheep?, as you explore the gardens, the story comes to life, with a vibrant flock of characters waiting to be discovered with every step!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! After completing the Story Walk, visit our pop-up library to collect your scavenger hunt checklist. Your mission? Find the missing Green Sheep hiding somewhere in the heart of the Cairns Children’s Festival!

Found the Green Sheep? Baa-rilliant! Submit your completed hunt checklist for a chance to win a book pack and your very own cuddly Green Sheep plushie!

⏰ Session times: Guided sessions run every 30 minutes, starting at 9am, or explore at your own pace.
