[Caboolture] Inclusive Care for All-abilities: Workshop & Networking

Livability Care Australia warmly invites you to our upcoming Inclusive Care for All-abilities: Workshop & Networking event this November!

This event will bring together guest speakers, community organisations, and care professionals to explore how we can build a more inclusive and equitable care system for people living with disability.

We are honoured to welcome a representative from Cancer Council Queensland as our key guest speaker, who will share insights from the recently released Disability and Cancer Care – Treatment and Care Policy (March 2025). The policy highlights the barriers many Australians with disability face in accessing cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, and sets out clear priorities to improve outcomes through:

• Improving data collection and reporting to better understand the experiences of people with disability affected by cancer
• Developing an Optimal Care Pathway for People with Disability to guide more accessible and inclusive health services
• Enhancing wellbeing and independence by ensuring continuity of care and meaningful participation in cancer screening and treatment

Alongside Cancer Council Queensland, other guest speakers from across the health and disability sectors will share insights and practical strategies for creating more accessible care pathways and stronger community connections.
