Fall Hike on Lower Haw

Hike into Fall at the Lower Haw with your families (ages 7+) for a Fall Hike on the Lower Haw. During our time, we will explore using all of our senses with a special sensory scavenger hunt. Participants will enjoy taking in all that the season brings, even beyond the beautiful colors! We’ll be celebrating the Great Trails State Day by getting outside in the beautiful Lower Haw River State Natural Area at the Bynum Mill Access. Our guide will be Friends of Lower Haw board member and environmental educator Emily Behr. Arrive by 10am, hike will start at 10:15. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
