Big changes are coming to your kids' digital world—and we’re here to help you make sense of it all!
The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is teaming up with Paris McNeil, a Gen Z lawyer and tech-savvy workshop legend, to bring you a lively, practical, and totally FREE info session on the upcoming Under-16 Social Media Ban.
📱 Wait, What Ban?!
From early December, kids under 16 won’t be allowed on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, Reddit, or Snapchat. Yep, it’s a big deal—and it might leave young people feeling confused, anxious, or just plain annoyed.
💡 So What’s This Session About?
You’ll walk away with:
A clear understanding of what the ban means
Smart strategies to support your kids through the change
Tools to help build healthier tech habits
Tips for having real conversations about screens, boundaries, and digital wellbeing.
