All Aboard! A Railway Adventure in the Assembly Rooms

Join us for a fun railway themed day in the historic assembly rooms in Buxton as we celebrate 200 years of railway Heritage!

In collaboration with friends of Buxton Station and Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust, this hands-on family event invites children and adults alike to get creative with hundreds of Trackmaster railway track pieces, battery power trains, carriages and activation points.

Build, play and discover the wonder of railways past and present in a unique setting that connects Buxton’s rich railway history with imaginative fun.

Perfect for all ages, come along and let your imagination ride the rails!

A suggested donation of £3 will help to support the community work of Friends of Buxton Station and Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust.
