Modern 1 with Lela

Modern I is based in Bartenieff Fundamentals and Cunningham Technique. This class covers basic Modern dance technique while focusing on flexibility, spatial awareness, and core strength. Modern includes the exploration of suspension and release, fall and recovery, and the use of momentum and connecting movement with the breath. This exploration is done through movement combinations, floor work, and improvisation.

Pre-Registration is required for all classes. No on-site registration will be accepted. To register please follow the registration link below. To reserve your spot in class make your selection. Once online "payment" is received your placement in class will be confirmed. You will then need to pay Lela on your first day. Please DO NOT arrive to the studio more than 15 minutes prior to your class start time. CLASSES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE IF MISSED.
