The Unhoused Conversation: Soup and Stories

This community-led initiative is more than just an event—it’s a call to action. The day would include:

🥣 Free Soup & Sausage Sizzle – A shared meal to bring people together

🎶 Live Music – Featuring Lamp’s music group

🧾 Community Petition – In support of stronger local housing and homelessness responses

📊 Data Wall – A public ideas space asking: "What would help end homelessness in our community?"

📱 Interactive Surveys

🗣 Advocacy Tools & Templates – Empowering attendees to write to MPs, Ministers, or local government officials with ready-made templates

With support for people with lived experience to share what works, what’s missing, and what they need

This is a grassroots effort to amplify local voices, reduce stigma, and demonstrate that our community cares about finding real solutions to homelessness.
