🎄 Turkeys from Heaven Sumter County – 9 Years of Giving! 🦃
We’re celebrating our 9th year of spreading Christmas joy and helping local families in need — and we can’t wait to do it again!
This year, on Monday, December 22nd, we’ll gather at the Sumter County Fairgrounds Arena to smoke the turkeys. Then on Tuesday, December 23rd, volunteers will come together to prepare green bean casseroles, pack rolls, cranberry sauce, and desserts — and deliver 400 complete Christmas meals across our community.
The families we serve are referred by Hospice, Home Health, DCF, churches, schools, and other local organizations.
💛 How you can help:
• Donate homemade desserts, canned goods, or frozen turkeys
• Volunteer to prep, pack, or deliver meals
• Make a monetary donation to help cover supplies
• Or lend a hand with the cooking!
