Hike or Run the epic Monument Marathon!
This challenging 27 mile loop connects six historic Towers.
Mostly on trail paths, you'll pass through country parks, along waterways, and even on to Holcombe Moor as you check off the the following six iconic towers along the route:
๐ Grants Tower
๐ Tentering Tower
๐ Peel Tower
๐ Turton Tower
๐ Bradshaw Hall remains
๐ Radcliffe Tower
This event is simply about completing the distance with the camaraderie of other like-minded people around you โ there should be no desire to โbeatโ anyone or break any records and our friendly, qualified guides will be running / hiking the whole route with you to offer a supportive pep talk when required. However, we also wonโt be offended if you do want to push on ahead without us.
Three, well-stocked, Aid Stations at regular intervals along the route and an awesome Monument Marathon finisher memento.
