Wondrous Trees: FREE Music Making Workshops

Make music inspired by trees at our first ‘Wondrous Wednesday’ family activity session.

On Wednesday (23 July), let your child’s creativity take root in our interactive music workshop, where the wonders of trees will inspire the rhythm, song and music of their musical masterpiece!

Our music making workshops will take place at 11am, 11.45am, 12.30pm, 1.15pm and 2.15pm. Please book online in advance to make sure you get your preferred slot.

Families can also discover more music inspired by wonderful woodlands as they explore CANOPY, a brand-new, unique and multi-part sound experience designed for everyone.

Collect a trail sheet from the CANOPY horsebox at the Arboretum, then explore the woodlands nearby to immerse yourselves in the ideas about trees shared within 24 Sonic Seed Pods.

CANOPY is available every day until 31 August.

CANOPY is co-commissioned by the National Memorial Arboretum and Inside Out Dorset. Funded by Arts Council England, Dorset Council and BCP Council. Presented at the Arboretum by Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces.
