Lammas or Lughnasadh is the first of the harvests, we have two in the Wheel of the Year the first here on the 1st of August and the second is at Mabon in September. Plus the last harvest of Samhain.
This is the time when the first fruits would be gathered. This is a time to enjoy what you have already accomplished, it is often a time of holidays and relaxation, in the past, it was a time when the schools closed so the children could help their families in the harvesting of the crops too.
Join us for our sacred circle, with the Sun God Lugh, the Maiden of the Grain and Celtic Goddesses.
We shall have our ceremony to honour the first harvest with a step into the mythic sacrifice of the harvest with the Barley Corn. Please bring your drums or percussion instruments, and be part of our ritual drama to ceremony of gratitude for the harvest, death and rebirth of the grain. Together we will participate in a sacred rite where the Corn King offers his spirit back to the land in gratitude for the first harvest.

I usually say bring your own lunch - this time lets have a Lammas Feast/Picnic - if you can bring things to share that would be amazing. I can organise the types of things via the Chat for this event.
We can set up a a feast area for our lunch either in the garden or inside.
