Meet outside the Barton Turns pub by the canal: NOT the marina!
Be ready to set off at 2pm for a stroll along the canal, though a field and then through the Barton Marina complex, avoiding it like the plague! The going is pretty level apart from a little scramble from the canalside to the bridge over the canal. Willing assistance will be there for anyone who needs a hand.
We end up back at the pub to sit in their enclosed garden to enjoy a pig's ear and a lemonade - whichever is your fancy.
Mud rating: well that depends on the weather, but no more than a 3. Stout shoes or boots will do.
