The Great Imagining is a young persons' arts organisation working with schools and communities in Staffordshire. We are a platform and invitation to imagine and take action towards a greener, fairer, wiser future for young people throughout the region. We are launching next year's community programme in the Burntwood Leisure Centre and we are inviting you to join us.
Our takeover of the Burntwood Leisure Centre on Saturday 5th July will transform it into a magical space where we can explore the future of Staffordshire through creativity and action.
Join us for a two-day celebration packed with 16 free workshops, interactive exhibits, performances, a cinema and local inspiration.
🌱 Get involved in hands-on sessions exploring climate, creativity, community and wellbeing
🎨 Try something new – from film and nature walks to sustainable fashion and arts
👩🎓 Hear directly from young people making change happen in their schools and communities
💬 Connect with local groups and meet others building a positive future in Staffordshire
Whether you're a teacher, student, parent, artist, activist or just curious – come along and take part in imagining what’s next.
