If you are looking for a relaxed and welcoming environment to try out, develop, and explore your creative side then come and check out our Slow Stitch Drop In Day!

Our group meets weekly here at Queen Street Mill's café to either work on personal stitching and textile projects, or work towards more collaborative pieces. Some of the things they have worked on in the last year include creating beautiful, embroidered pieces for our community mural and working towards their own exhibit for the mill - which is currently up in our reception area until November.

So if this sounds like something you would enjoy, our friendly staff and Stitchers will help you get settled in and help with any questions. There is no commitment to attend every week, so this is a truly flexible and stress-free environment to refine or learn a new skill and socialise. We provide everything you need to get started, but you can bring some of your own materials if you prefer.

Suitable for anyone who is interested, no prior knowledge of stitching is required, and can include additional textile crafts such as crochet and knitting.
