FROM THE MOOR - Aitor Throup

FROM THE MOOR – an immersive retrospective exhibition showcasing Throup’s groundbreaking designs, sculptures and drawings from the last 22 years will be presented in his hometown of Burnley, Lancashire, at the Burnley Empire - an iconic Grade II listed Victorian theatre in the heart of Burnley.

A secondary smaller exhibition of Throup’s work will take place at Gallery OneTwoThree - a building which used to house the designer clothing shop where the young Throup worked and was originally inspired by the works of Massimo Osti - namely the brands C.P Company and Stone Island – two brands with whom Throup would later collaborate.

£80 - AITOR THROUP EXCLUSIVE ARTIST TALK AND TOUR - Friday 31 October, 7.30pm

On Friday 31 October Aitor Throup will give an exclusive artist’s talk and tour around the exhibition for a limited audience. The VIP ticket also includes a signed limited edition Aitor Throup print and a signed copy of the exhibition catalogue.

FROM THE MOOR - A RETROSPECTIVE OF AITOR THROUP’S IMAGINATION will open at the Burnley Empire for four days only from 30th October to 2nd November 2025.

• Please arrive 15 minutes before allocated slot.
• No late admissions.
• Two tickets per person maximum.
• No refunds.
• Due to the nature of the historic venue, hard hats and hi-viz vests will be provided as they are required to be worn to enter.
