Have you ever wanted to learn how to Square Dance? Now's your chance!
Circle 8's Square and Round Dance Club of British Columbia is kicking off a new set of beginner lessons this fall!
From September through December, we'll start by teaching you the basics of Square Dancing and add new moves to your repertoire every week. By the end of the term, you'll know the entire Social Square Dance (SSD) curriculum, which you'll be able to take with you anywhere you go.
Square Dancing is gentle, low-impact exercise--one night of dancing can add 4000-6000 steps to your day! It's also a great way to make new friends by becoming a part of our community.
You don't need a partner, nor do you need any dance experience or any fancy clothing. Just show up with a smile, and we'll teach you everything you need to know.
We're kicking off Square Dance lessons on Tuesday, September 9 at Alan Emmott Centre (6650 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby, BC) from 7-9:30pm! And for new dancers--your first two September classes are free!
