Expressive Blob Puppets (6-week cohort)

Starting Sept 30th, for six weeks, we’ll come together every Thursday from 2:30-4:30pm with Coach Liz to find out if emotions take form as puppets! In this 6-week cohort, we’ll explore emotions through art-making! Using a range of materials, we’ll create expressive blob sculptures that bring complex emotions to life. Along the way, we’ll reflect on how to be more curious, nonjudgmental, and aware of emotions—whether our own or others.

What You’ll Do

Over six weeks, you’ll create your own expressive blob puppets. Together we’ll experiment with:

• Shape, form, texture, color, and movement
• Materials like cardboard, newspaper, watercolor paint, and more
• Ways to use puppetry to spark curiosity and playfulness

About Your Host Liz

"I'm an artist and puppeteer. I love bringing people together through art and creativity, and finding ways to bring playfulness, silliness, wackiness, and imagination into everyday life. • We are in a large, bright room on the first floor, there's a busy road outside (it may get noisy—headphones welcome if you’re sound-sensitive).
