Steve Walenczak Memorial Fundraiser for Stead Family Children's Hospital Facility Dog Program

My dad, Steve Walenczak, unexpectedly passed away on April 8, 2025. One of the things my dad and I liked to do was watch college football, on TV or in person. We attended several Hawkeye games at Kinnick (always loyal Buckeyes, though) and got to participate in the Iowa Wave together.

I wanted to do something to honor him and felt a good way to do so would be to support the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. All money raised at this fundraiser will go specifically to their Facility Dog Program.

This fundraiser will consist of a bake sale and raffle. Donations for the raffle or bake sale are welcome and greatly appreciated.

Special thank you to Deb Parks and the Eagles Club 150 for their generosity and allowing us to have this event at their facility.
