This two-hour workshop is perfect for beginners who want to understand the basics of beekeeping and explore the fascinating ecology and behaviors of bees during the height of summer activity.
Led by Deborah Rubin—beekeeper from the Vermont Beeskeepers Association—this class will introduce you to:
We’ll begin at the conference center at 20 Rock Point Road for an intoduction in the classroom, and take a short drive to visit our active hives. Beekeeping protective gear will be provided.
Registration fees: We offer a sliding scale to make this workshop accessible. Please choose the level that’s right for you—every ticket supports our beekeeping education programs for youth and adults.
