"Building Blocks" Community Paint Days

Mission Murals and the Edmunds Elementary PTO are partnering with artist Clark Derbes to transform 266 Main Street into a vibrant community mural—Building Blocks.

Right now, this highly visible building is a blighted landmark. Covered in defacement and vandalism, it sits directly across from Edmunds Elementary and Middle School, where it's the daily backdrop for children walking, playing, and learning. As a gateway into downtown, its condition impacts the spirit and vibrancy of the entire community.

Join us for 2 Community Paint Days:
Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28
10:00 AM–4 PM

We would love as much community participation as possible! Paint, rollers, and guidance will be supplied—just bring your energy and creativity and help us fill in shapes on the wall! Kids under 10 are welcome with an adult.
