‘Line & wash flowers’ -Enjoy nature’s colours through watercolour & fine liner sketching with Anna R

Take a moment to enjoy and observe nature in the beautiful surroundings of Sussex Prairies Wild. We look at how plants and flowers are put together and translate the shapes and character into sketches. After making some initial pencil observations, we will apply loose watercolour and fine liner pens to create expressive, quick, colour sketches. There is no need to have prior drawing skills, the course is more about enjoying the process and the calm of observing and engaging with nature than producing a masterpiece. Sketching is a great way to switch off from a busy lifestyle.
There will be an assortment of pencils, fine liners and watercolours available to use on the course. Please bring a hardback sketchbook, minimum paperweight 160 gsm. Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
