Take a break from the busyness of life and join us for a calming morning in the beautiful Sussex Prairie gardens. Through gentle, sensory-based practices, we’ll slow down, tune in, and nourish our connection with nature and ourselves.
Nature is deeply therapeutic and restorative. Taking time to enjoy it and be with it more consciously helps us return to a quieter, more balanced place within—one that is in tune with ourselves and the world around us.
What to expect
A guided and meditative journey where we wander through the gardens and immerse ourselves in the aliveness of this beautiful and vibrant space.
Try simple mindfulness practices like feeling the texture of grass, noticing the breeze on your skin, and conscious breathing to help slow down and be more present. As you settle into these experiences, you may find yourself naturally returning to a sense of inner stillness, allowing stress and tension to gradually release.
Time for quiet reflection and also for speaking with each other to share our experience, exploring our inner landscape as well as the outer one.
You are welcome to come just as you are, with whatever mood or energy you are bringing. Nature provides a healing space where everything is allowed to simply be.

About your guide
Mark Reeves is a counsellor, coach and nature-based therapist. He offers Forest Bathing and other Nature Connection experiences for individuals and groups, helping people reconnect with the natural world and themselves.
What about the weather?
This event can be enjoyed in most weather conditions as long as you dress appropriately. If the weather is looking extremely challenging or unsafe, the session will be cancelled and your payment refunded.
