Join photographer Dawn Eagleton as she shares tips on how you can capture the raw beauty of everyday life through your lens .
Join us at our store in Burgess Hill on Saturday 14th June where street photographer Dawn Eagleton will be sharing her tips and tricks that you can put into your own photography when it comes to shooting candidly out on the streets.
Dawn loves colour and often plays with texture, light and contrast through her images. During this 60-minute talk, Dawn will discuss how she got into the art of shooting Street Photography, including what she looks for, what techniques she uses, how to get consent and the fear of objection.
Throughout the session, Dawn will share a selection of some of her recent shots captured both in the UK and across the world, sharing tips and tricks that she’s picked up that you can hopefully put into your own photography, whether you’re just starting out with photography, or are looking to try something new.
Dawn will also share tips on how you can use glass to elevate your images and deal with reflections, showing images from her “Through the Glass” series.
Dawn encourages participation within her talks, so if you’ve any questions about her shots or the equipment she uses, there will be plenty of opportunity to have any questions you might have, answered.
After the session, we invite you to visit our Fujifilm area where you can try out the range of cameras and lenses for yourself. A technical expert from Fujifilm UK will also be on-hand to offer any additional help and advice.

Dawn Eagleton is a British Street Photographer who specialises in candid street portraits. Fascinated by human expression and mannerisms, in 2018 Dawn embarked on a creative journey to explore and reveal the beauty of everyday people in unguarded moments. She has built a solid reputation with her signature “Through the Glass” portraits, many of which invite the viewer to connect with the subject through eye contact.
