The final day of The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend 2025 and Burgess Hill hosts its very own 10k race.
The Burgess Hill 10k can be run as a stand-alone race or the third and final leg of the full marathon distance.
Featuring in Runner's World top UK races of 2024, and with a reputation for enthusiastic warm hearted marshals, the camaraderie amongst runners, family friendly races, and a scenic route with its challenging hills - this is one10k race not to be missed!
The route: starts on The Burgess Hill Academy playing field and onto Chanctonbury Road. Runners then run up Chanctonbury Road to Nightingale Meadows where they do two laps of the fields, before returning for a lap around the school playing field to the finish line.
Water will be available for all participants at approximately every three miles during the race, with additional water available at the start and finish.
All finishers will receive a bespoke Burgess Hill 10k race souvenir medal.
The race will take place at 10.30am following the Mid Sussex Fun Run at 9.30am and the Mid Sussex Mile at 10.00am.
This event is managed by Places Leisure in partnership with AHS Wellbeing, on behalf of Mid Sussex District Council, East Grinstead Town Council, Haywards Heath Town Council and Burgess Hill Town Council.
