Post Disaster Simulation-Pender County

In this Post Disaster Simulation, you will learn about the importance of being prepared. This event provides a hands-on experience of the very real-life barriers people face after a disaster.

Through assigned profiles, participants are tasked with navigating the weeks following a disaster. This includes things like obtaining needed supplies, filing insurance claims, seeking medical attention, and obtaining needed medications and services.

This event is offered in partnership with the Pender County Long Term Recovery Group.
