FEAR OF A BLACK HAT is Rusty Cundieff's mockumentary about a controversy-inciting trio with a penchant for outrageous headwear, questionable lyrics, and a seriously NSFW approach to turntablism. It satirizes the hip-hop genre, specifically the hardcore and controversial aspects of 1990s rap music. The film follows a fictional rap group called N.W.H. lampooning their music, image, and behavior, while also poking fun at the music industry and the reactions to their music.
