Goofy 500: A Lightning Milestone

Join us for a special Family Fun Day as Pine Hills Lightning proudly celebrates an extraordinary milestone - David “Goofy” Sutherland’s 500th Division 1 games for the black & yellow.

Goofy has embodied everything that makes our club special: commitment, sportsmanship, resilience and an unwavering passion for the game. This event is about more than numbers - it’s about legacy, community, and the countless memories created along the way.

Bring the whole family down to James Drysdale Reserve for an afternoon of baseball, celebration and fun. With a kids activity zone, giveaways and raffles, Goofy memorabilia, presentation, and canteen open, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as we honour one of Pine Hills Lightning’s true club legends.
