What to bring
Coaches must bring their own teams, dice, templates, and other necessary equipment for the tournament. All players should also bring a copy of their roster for reference during each game.
Dugouts and pitches will all be provided and set up prior to the event.

Modelling and Painting
Your models must clearly represent their positions and whilst official Games Workshop miniatures are preferred, you may use any suitable 3rd party team if you wish to. Models must not be crude or inappropriate.
All models to be used by your team must be fully painted and clearly numbered. If you wish, you can use markers such as coloured stripes on bases or rubber bands to denote skills and positionals, although these aren’t deemed mandatory. As long as your opponent can be clear about which piece has what skills.

Team Selection - Tiers, Skills, Inducements, Treasury and Star Players
Each team must be built using a starting Treasury of 1,150,000 gold pieces. This can be spent on players, re-rolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, fan factor, and a limited range of inducements. All coaches will receive 6 Primary skills to distribute among their players during team creation. These skills may be given to any player on the team. No stacking is allowed, and you may only select the same skill up to 3 times!
In addition the 29 teams are divided into tiers and have extra stipulations as follows:
Tier 1: (11 teams)
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, High Elf, Lizardmen, Norse, Shambling Undead, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf
No Star Players
Tier 2: (13 teams)
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegade, Elven Union, Human, Imperial Nobility, Khorne, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Old World Alliance, Orc, Tomb Kings, Vampire
No Star Players, 1 additional Secondary Skill
Tier 3: (5 teams)
Gnome, Goblin, Halfling, Ogre, Snotling
Option 1: 2 additional Secondary Skills, 1 Star Player
Option 2: 1 additional Secondary Skill, 2 Star Players, 3 (not 6) Primary Skills
In all cases, build your roster prior to the event in Tourplay where the restrictions will automatically be applied or removed as appropriate.

Swiss Pairings
After each round, players will be paired based on their total points. Players with the same number of points will play each other. The goal is to have competitive matches and ensure that players are playing against opponents with similar performance.

Game Time
Each match will be played with a 2-hour time limit for each round.
Coaches should keep track of time and be prepared to conclude the match before time runs out.
If at any point a coach wishes to, they may impose use of a chess clock, dividing any remaining time between the two players equally. A judge should be asked to confirm time remaining and verify the state of the game. If a match is not completed within the allocated time, it will be considered a draw, and neither team will earn points for the match result.
The tournament organizers may also impose penalties for teams that exceed the time limit.

Rule Clarifications
Any questions or disputes during the game will be resolved by the tournament organizers, who will make rulings based on the official NAF rules and any pre-tournament clarifications.
Reporting and software
As outlined earlier, each coach will need access to Tourplay in order to properly report match results. This software can be used on any smartphone browser. No subscription or downloads are needed, just an internet connection.
If errors are discovered in scores or pairings, TOs may make adjustments provided these do not excessively delay the tournament schedule. Errors beyond the control of the TO that require significant changes to published pairings are handled at the TO’s discretion. Players are responsible for reviewing their scores and pairings to ensure accuracy.

Tiebreakers
In the event of a tie in the standings, the following tiebreakers will be applied in order:
Net touchdowns (touchdowns scored minus touchdowns conceded)
Net casualties (casualties inflicted minus casualties suffered)
Head-to-head result
A dice roll to determine the final position

Sportsmanship
Players are encouraged to engage in good-natured banter and celebrate each other’s successes. The goal of the tournament is to have fun and foster camaraderie among Blood Bowl enthusiasts. Good sportsmanship is expected throughout the tournament. Players must act respectfully toward their opponents, organizers, and other participants.
Cheating, or any behavior that violates the spirit of the game, will result in disqualification from the tournament.

Awards
Trophies will be awarded for the following achievements at the end of the tournament:
1st Place
2nd Place
3rd Place
