Tunes and Tales: A Musical Storytime

Join us for a fun and interactive musical story time that features five musicians from the Mid-Texas Symphony!
Get ready to become one with the animals as we gallop, hop, fly, and glide our way through “The Carnival of the Animals” storybook, while listening to excerpts from Saint-Saëns’s suite!

For this program, we bring in a storyteller with a woodwind quintet (flute, clarinet, French horn, bassoon, oboe) to read the book “The Carnival of the Animals” with musical interludes and representations of the animals. This program is presented in a “circle time” format and is about 25-30 minutes long.
