Tasting Class: Why French Wine Matters

Local wine consultant Cristiano Invernizzi and his colleague Bertrand Blanchez, both of Banville Wine Merchants, will sample five beautiful French wines. They'll explore the distinct flavors of French terroir and discuss the qualities of place that make these wines unique and influential in the world of wine. Some examples you'll explore are Pinot Noir in Champagne, Chardonnay when gown in Chablis, and the distinctive taste of Syrah set in the Northern Rhone.

Space is limited, so don't wait to register.

Registration costs $10, but all attendees will receive a $10 voucher to use at the store on one of the items they tasted on the day of the event. Light snacks will also be served, and attendees will receive some tasting notes on the items they're sampling.

Note: All attendees must be 21 years or older and have appropriate documentation (ie, driver's license or passport) to verify their age.
