Join Slow Roll Buffalo on Saturday, August 16, 2025 for our 5th annual curated ride, experience, and fundraiser dedicated to exploring and supporting urban farms and food systems in Western New York. 🥕🚴♀️
In partnership with Gardens Buffalo Niagara and supported by the Food Policy Council of Buffalo & Erie County, this year's ride will take place on Urban Farm Day, with a 15-mile SQUAD-led route beginning at The Nickel Plate (1500 Clinton St). Meet-up starts at 12:30pm, roll out at 1:00pm, and we’ll ride through 3-4 inspiring stops before returning for an afterparty with food, drinks, and local vendors inside the historic Niagara Frontier Food Terminal.
We’ll be stopping at:
• Providence Farm Collective’s International Farmers Market – home to 16+ culturally diverse, community-rooted vendors
• Pelion Outdoor Classroom – a hands-on, pollinator-friendly urban learning space
• Farmer Pirates Compost – a worker-owned co-op turning local food waste into soil-saving compost
• And more to come!
