Dia del Idioma | Spanish Language Day is celebrated
To recognize the importance of the Spanish language, celebrate multilingualism, and promote cultural diversity. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) established Spanish Language Day in 2010, along with other language days for the UN's six official working languages.

Para reconocer la importancia del español, celebrar el multilingüismo y promover la diversidad cultural, la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO) estableció el Día del Español en 2010, junto con otros días para los seis idiomas oficiales de trabajo de la ONU.
