Brown Bag Zine-Making Class

Hands-on zine-making class in the Book Arts studio!

Join artist, Jordan Roth, for a Brown Paper Bag zine-making class! We’re all guilty of forgetting our reusable shopping bags at the store; check your closets and backseats for discarded paper bags! We’ll transform them into something new during this workshop! We’ll be folding, binding, collaging our paper bags into zines. We’ll provide creative prompts, writing/drawing utensils, and binding materials. You bring paper bags and any other paper “junk” you can collage with!

The workshop is geared towards teens + adults. There is no prerequisite knowledge required. All materials provided.

Jordan Roth is a storyteller, curator, and zine-maker based in Western New York. Through collage, photography, painting, and other forms, they create art from an intersectional queer and feminist perspective.
