You can donate all the items for a themed basket, just a few items, and let us assemble the basket! Or, help us put them together at our Very Fun Basket Party! Refreshments will be served.
Just drop off the items on Saturday, October 4th at 10am - 11:am. We'll be waiting to receive your items at the back entrance at Tri-Main (2495 Main St. Buffalo) on Halbert Street.
Or, join the fun and help us assemble them on Saturday, October 4th at 11am - 1:00. We'll be assembling at our storage unit, room 542 at Tri-Main, 2495 Main St. Buffalo. Park in the back lot on Halbert Street. Refreshments will be served.
These baskets support one of our partner agencies, Journey’s End Refugee Services, as they celebrate 40 years of operation. A 40th anniversary celebration is going to be held on October 23, 2025 at the Atrium at Rich’s and Kathy’s Happy Helpers have committed to help raise funds by hosting their basket raffle.
We are looking for donations of all kinds! Here are ways you can help:
• Solicit or donate a gift card. All kinds are desired! Think restaurants, grocery stores, movie theaters, escape rooms, bookstores, specialty stores, local bakeries, coffee shops, etc.
• Check the ideas list below and donate the items for one of our 40 baskets. Use the sign-up link below to commit to donating the items for one basket. Each basket will have a net worth between $30 - $50. The list is a general guide, feel free to use your creativity - not all the suggestions need to be sent in. Items must be new!
• Sign up below to help assemble the baskets on October 4th, at 11am. We have the actual basket containers already and will be having a basket assembly party in our space at the Tri-Main Center, room 542 on the fifth floor.
• Please drop off all donations to the Tri-Main lobby on the Halbert Street side on Saturday, October 4th between 10 – 11am on. If you cannot drop off your items on this day, please email Shari by September 29th for pickup arrangements at

Journeys End Themed Basket List
1. The Bills Make Me Wanna Shout!: put together a basket with game watching snacks, Bills plates and napkins, Bills themed items or apparel, gift card to a sports bar.
