Schooner-versity

The first of our monthly 'Schooner-versity' events will see Taylor Berrett, AFHEA from Sunshine Coast University take the stage.

Taylor Berrett is a researcher, academic, PhD candidate, speaker, and writer. His research into human-nature relationships and wellbeing has been published in the journals New Ideas in Psychology and Ecopsychology, and this year he’s presenting on nature-informed health at conferences including the Australian Sociological Society and Outdoor Health Australia Forum. He currently teaches in both the School of Law and Society and the School of Business and Creative Industries at University of the Sunshine Coast.

This months topic: The 4 billion-year-old reason we’re all anxious, lonely and can’t think straight. A conversation on evolutionary psychology, health, and probably a little bit about AI, because why not?

The third Thursday of each month 'Schooner-versity' will bring you keynote speakers from various fields to discuss unique topics.

We will also drink Beer (and / or) Wine & Spirits.
