“Lost to the Sea” with Lisa Woollett

Award-Winning author of "Rag and Bone", Lisa Woollett joins Bude Lit Festival on Sun 18th May to talk about her new book "Lost to the Sea"

Lisa is the author and photographer of several award-winning books about the sea, beachcombing and mudlarking. Her memoir, 'Rag and Bone', won the Royal Society of Literature Giles St Aubyn Award for Non-fiction. Inspired by growing up on eroding cliffs on the Isle of Sheppey - Lisa will give an illustrated talk about her search for traces of lost lands, both on and offshore - in the ghost coastline, populated with fishing villages and legendary pubs, medieval churches, submerged forests and prehistoric settlements.
