Over this 6 week series we'll focus on balancing our Yin and Yang energy. Summer is the most Yang (active / energetic) season of the year. As we're approaching the longest day of the year, there is a lot of demand on our energy reserves to work, play and create which can be exhausting for our nervous system effecting our overall wellbeing. With life buzzing at its highest level around us, finding time and place to rest, reset and recharge can be difficult. Yet, pausing to restore your life force is critical to manage the fire of this season and avoid burn out.
"Stopping, calming, and resting are preconditions for healing." Thich Nhat Hanh
Join me on Monday evenings as we explore the concept of Madhya - “in-between space” to find some stillness, not only at class but also during your daily activities.
