Winter Sanctuary invites you to 1.5 days of gentle release, deep rest, and embodied renewal — a nourishing space for body and soul.
Through the rhythms of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness, we dive into the mysterious and magical energy of winter. What are the hidden gifts that this season brings? What would happen if you allowed yourself to rest or to break through your inertia?
Together, we dance through the stillness of winter to get in touch with our physical body, our intuition, and the subtle messages of our deeper selves. We discover what keeps our inner flame alive in days of darkness. With the power of movement, we dissolve heaviness and return to our own natural body rhythm.
This workshop offers you space for nourishing movement, deeper awareness, and the vision of your heart.

💃 About the teacher
Julia Mercurio is is a certified 5Rhythms teacher with over 15 years of dancing experience. She has trained with Gabrielle Roth’s son Jonathan Horan, head of 5Rhythms Global in New York. With sensitivity and well chosen music, Julia creates space to free the body and explore the deeper layers of the soul. She holds a Masters of Art in Intercultural communication, and has trained in different somatic practices, including CoreSoma. The space she holds offers a journey through different energies - from nourishing, to focussed, over ecstatic to playful and sacred. A core theme of her teaching is how to truly fall in love with ourselves and how to use embodiment as a natural resource for healing.
