Stella Rose, a New York-i dark pop szcéna egyik legizgalmasabb és legmisztikusabb hangja végre Budapestre érkezik, hogy élőben is megmutassa, mi történik akkor, amikor nyers érzelmek, sötét líraiság és túlvilági atmoszféra találkozik a színpadon.
Legújabb EP-je, a Hollybaby mélyebb és sötétebb rétegekbe hív: baljós gitárok, atmoszférikus, kísérteties vokálok és nyers, másvilági költészet formálják az anyagot. A Beautiful Twentysomethings fiatalságot és szépséget vizsgáló világa, az MS.45 tüzes metaforái és a Drugstore Romeo drogfüggőségről szóló, kontrasztos hangzású vallomása mind Stella Rose különleges, erős vizuális és lírai univerzumát hangsúlyozzák.
A Rolling Stone által is ünnepelt előadó stabilan jelen van New York underground színterén, és friss EP-jét Yves Rothman producerrel készítette – részben a Los Angeles-i hőhullám közepén, ami meghatározó nyers energiát adott a lemezhez. A londoni és párizsi teltházas koncertek után most Budapesten is átélheted ezt a sötét, intenzív és hipnotikus atmoszférát. Stella Rose, one of the most intriguing and enigmatic voices of New York’s dark pop scene, is finally coming to Budapest to show what happens when raw emotion, shadowy lyricism, and otherworldly atmosphere collide on stage.
Her latest EP, Hollybaby, invites listeners into deeper, darker realms: foreboding guitars, atmospheric and haunting vocals, and raw, otherworldly poetry shape the record. The youth- and beauty-exploring world of Beautiful Twentysomethings, the fiery metaphors of MS.45, and the contrasting, addiction-themed confession of Drugstore Romeo all highlight Stella Rose’s striking visual and lyrical universe.
Celebrated by Rolling Stone, Stella Rose is a steady presence in New York’s underground scene, and she created her new EP with producer Yves Rothman, partly during a brutal Los Angeles heatwave that infused the record with its visceral energy. After sold-out shows in London and Paris, you can now experience this dark, intense, and hypnotic atmosphere in Budapest as well.
