We invite you to join us in Budapest at our beloved “Gólya Presszó” for a solidarity evening dedicated to raising awareness about the struggle of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention centers. Amidst an ongoing genocide, starvation, and legalised execution, this event aims to shed light on their ongoing struggle and the recent developments threatening their lives and rights.
9,350+ prisoners currently detained across 23 prisons and interrogation centers, with 56 female prisoners who most then held in "Damun" prison, 3,385 administrative detainees held without charge or trial, 115+ prisoners serving life sentences. At least 350 children and minors detained in prisons. Hundreds of sick prisoners in need of urgent medical care.323 martyrs from the prisoner movement who have lost their lives in detention.
In a deeply concerning development, the Israeli Knesset has recently passed legislation allowing for the execution of Palestinian prisoners, escalating an already grave human rights crisis and placing thousands of lives at immediate risk.
It's our duty and obligation to learn, and take action against the new legislation as well as the daily physical, mental, sexual abuse endured.
