Love Juice – premier a Budapest Jazz Club-ban!
A Love Juice egy igazi G-Funk hangulatban született dal, amely visszahozza George Clinton, Nate Dogg és Snoop Dogg legendás Doggystyle világát – mindezt Lucy és Balázs egyedi stílusában. Ez a szerzemény belőlük és a kamaszkori énjükből fakad, így egyszerre nosztalgikus és friss, egyszerre játékos és őszinte. Légy részese az első pillanattól, amikor megszólal a Love Juice!
A jazz-énekesnő új korszakot nyit Lucy Markus néven futó szólóprojektjével, amelyben saját dalai és dalszövegei révén egyre szabadabb, egyre önazonosabb hangon szólal meg.
A koncertprogramban helyet kapnak a 2020-as Footprints – Who is my destiny című lemez válogatott darabjai is, de a hangsúly egyértelműen az új repertoáron van: köztük Neumann Balázzsal közösen írt szerzeményeken, amelyek az énekesnőre jellemző érzékenységgel és érett zenei látásmóddal szólalnak meg.
Márkus Luca nemzetközi szinten is aktív, jelenleg Evadentlee (New York-i zeneszerző, producer, performer) oldalán dolgozik egy különleges közös projekten, amely London és Budapest között formálódik. Első közös debütáló EP-jük hamarosan napvilágot lát, és a műfaji határokon átívelő zenei világuk új, izgalmas arcát mutatja meg a közönségnek.

Love Juice was born in a true G-Funk vibe, bringing back the legendary world of George Clinton, Nate Dogg, and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle – all reimagined through Lucy and Balázs’s unique style. This song comes straight from their hearts and their teenage selves, making it both nostalgic and fresh, playful and honest at the same time.

Hungarian jazz vocalist and songwriter Luca Markus enters a new chapter with her debut solo project, Lucy Markus. Blending her original lyrics and compositions with the deep musical rapport of long-time collaborators, the project unfolds in a fresh direction where jazz improvisation meets the groove of funk and the emotional depth of soul.
This core quartet has been performing together for years, primarily in jazz settings, but their long-standing musical connection now breathes new life into original material. Their live set includes selected pieces from the 2020 album Footprints – Who is my destiny, alongside brand-new songs co-written with pianist Balázs Neumann, showcasing Lucy’s signature sensitivity and a mature musical vision. Lucy is also active on the international scene. She is currently working with Evadentlee, a New York-based composer, producer and performer, on a cross-border collaboration between London and Budapest. Their first joint EP and debut single are set to be released soon, presenting a bold and intimate sonic world that expands Lucy’s artistic universe.
The Lucy Markus project offers more than just a musical experience – it invites listeners on an inner journey that is at once playful, profound, and liberating.
