Globalization, Integration, Identity: How to Regain Europe's Strength?
Europe has been experiencing profound changes, as are its constituent parts. However, European action and the activities of its various stakeholders seem to remain unresponsive. The forces and challenges of globalisation and deglobalization have become increasingly constraining, there is less room for manoeuvre in terms of integration, and states are seeking to preserve an essence of their identity. Henceforth, the preservation of Europe’s roots and values, economic growth and international influence will depend more on its ability to find adequate responses.
The Center for European Studies of the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church of Hungary, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium and the Barna Horváth Law and Liberty Circle are therefore proud to convene distinguished speakers and organize an international conference that aims to explore and address the interconnected themes of globalisation, integration, and identity and the successful responses of Europe.

On 1st October: Mathias Corvinus Collegium, 1113 Budapest, Tas vezér utca 3-7.
On 2nd October: Károlyi-Csekonics Palace, 1088 Budapest, Múzeum utca 17
